I take my tires off quarterly and scrub the whole area. Strut towers, springs, lower A arms, and backside of the wheels. Then I use armour all on the plastic, but use a wet sponge to wipe it down and towel dry it.
Sci got me to try the Engine Kote stuff on the engine compartment, worked good, gonna try it on the wheel wells.
Its water based though so the first rain you drive in will rinse it off.
