Turbo install questions
I want to run this idea by yall and get some input. I am getting ready to install the GT turbo on my 2001. I have the manifold and will be getting the rest of the parts that I'll need for this install. All the lines and hoses and stuff I have covered. I had looked at installing a new PCM from a 2003 but I'm now leaning towards not. I plan on using a manual boost control system instead. I'm also looking at installing a one way check valve in the MAP sensor so that the PCM does not see the boost and try to lean out the mixture if I understand how the system works. The only thing I haven't got nailed down yet is how to increase the fuel pressure as boost goes up. Right now I'm in the planning stages and hope to have this done with in 2-months.
