Too granular a display for my taste. With a larger scale you have a better indication if you are tilting towards leaner or richer - with only 1 light representing each, it is difficult to tell which way you are tuning.
There are several modifications that can be done to the AutoMeter guage to cahnge it's 'speed' of display, as well as using it as a 'wideband' display. Google around a bit.
