Do you mean the headlight itself from the car?
If so, it's not as easy as opening them, but not that difficult at all... just lots of steps:
1. Jack PT up - (lift much better).. (of coarse)
2. Remove tires
4. Remove Grill
5. Remove 2 screws located under lower grill that hold
the bumper to the front fascia
3. Remove wheel well covers to access the headlight screws
4. Remove headlight screws.
5. Pull or push the headlight out of housing. (you may need to
push down on bumper a little... that's why you loosen up the 2
screws in the lower grill section.

Haven't put together the headlight nor tried any bulb with the reflector off..... yet. But will definitely let you know.
I am going to take pics for you guys showing the difference in using and not using the reflector with an amber colored bulb.
I'll try to take a day and night shot, but it may be a little difficult with the night shot being that I'm only at the shop during the day... I'll try though.
