To have the change you mentioned, you would have had to altered the final drive, either by changing the gears or perhaps an different tire diameter.

Brad is right. We went round and round last year on this same exact subject and I thought it was doing the same thing but it can not. How can I explain it? Its the "sensation" or seat of pants thing it makes you think there is a change. But it does add torque to the lower end and actually though out the range in a few places. The RPM and SPEED thing is just a clever Jedi mind trick.
